Product Designer (AI)

Location: US remote; flexible remote work or an office-based option in Palo Alto, CA, with in-office attendance 3–5 days per week

What you will do

• Lead product design projects from concept through polished execution across mobile and web.
• Shape the core experience of a generative AI creative platform used by millions of creators.
• Collaborate with product managers, engineers, researchers, and creators to turn AI capabilities into accessible user experiences.
• Develop product strategies, interaction patterns, prototypes, user flows, and shipped features.
• Define and maintain visual language and design systems, including typography, color, spacing, and animation.
• Communicate design intent through storytelling, prototypes, and clear rationale while advocating for user-centered solutions.

Requirements

• 3–5+ years of product design experience in UI/UX.
• Portfolio demonstrating shipped mobile applications and leadership across UX and visual design.
• Comfort with Apple’s Human Interface Guidelines and system-level design.
• Ability to visualize, prototype, and iterate quickly in a fast-paced environment.
• Expertise in developing consistent design logic aligned with users’ mental models.
• Strong collaboration, communication, and design rationale skills.

Nice to have

• Experience designing creative tools, social media platforms, or games.
• Design or related degree.
• Design-engineering skills, high-fidelity prototyping, or animation experience.
• Based in or around Palo Alto, CA.
