Senior or Lead Product Designer (AI)

Location: Remote, USA; NYC headquarters, with some teams potentially having different location requirements.

Salary: $150,000–$200,000 USD base salary per year, excluding bonus potential, commission, and equity.

What you will do

• Own the end-to-end product design process from discovery, research support, and concept exploration through implementation, QA, and launch.
• Partner with Product and Engineering to define problems, shape product strategy, and balance user needs, business goals, and technical constraints.
• Prototype and experiment rapidly to validate ideas, communicate concepts, and reduce uncertainty before development.
• Use modern AI tools and emerging workflows to accelerate design, prototyping, QA, and execution.
• Improve workflows and customer experiences for creators, brands, and shoppers while contributing to critiques and product discussions.
• Evolve the design system and deliver accessible, scalable, polished experiences with strong attention to detail.

Requirements

• 7+ years of product design experience, ideally in a startup or fast-moving product environment.
• Portfolio demonstrating exceptional visual craft and product thinking across web, mobile, and responsive platforms.
• Builder mindset with strong product intuition and the ability to work through ambiguity and rapid iteration.
• Experience creating prototypes to communicate ideas and validate solutions.
• Strong collaboration and communication skills with Product, Engineering, and Design.
• Systems thinking with a focus on scalability, quality, accessibility, and craft.

Nice to have

• Experience with AI-powered design and development tools such as Claude Code, Cursor, Lovable, or similar.
• Experience in a startup or fast-moving product environment.
