GBM - Private - Investment Banking Associate (Natural Resources)

Location: New York, NY, United States; onsite office role

Salary: $150,000–$225,000 annual base salary, plus potential discretionary bonus

What you will do

• Develop financial models and perform customized company valuation analyses.
• Advise clients and support M&A, fixed income, equity issuance, and other financial transactions.
• Prepare client presentations covering industry trends, client situations, financial advice, and strategic recommendations.
• Manage transaction processes and coordinate tax advisors, attorneys, and bankers across multiple groups and regions.
• Lead due diligence and participate in negotiations of legal documentation.
• Build and maintain client relationships while supporting transaction structuring and execution.

Requirements

• Minimum 3 years of investment banking or equivalent experience.
• Outstanding academic and professional achievement.
• Strong teamwork skills and the ability to collaborate across multiple groups and regions.
• Ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines, manage changing priorities, and handle a varied workload.
• Ability to work from the New York office.
