Investment Operations – PE Retail - Associate (Private Equity)

Location: New York, United States

Expected annual base salary: $110,000–$150,000, plus discretionary bonuses and potential equity or incentive compensation.

hirify.global is an alternative asset manager overseeing investment strategies across private equity, real estate, credit, infrastructure, life sciences, growth equity, secondaries, and hedge funds.

What you will do

• Manage fund administration operations for private equity retail funds and support deal teams and internal marketing groups.
• Coordinate investment transactions, closing and sale funds flows, and transaction accounting with deal teams, fund counsel, tax advisors, portfolio company management, and fund accountants.
• Manage fund-level cash and liquidity by forecasting realizations and capital deployments.
• Monitor LPA limits, deal certificate compliance, credit-line capacity, borrowing-base requirements, and covenants.
• Oversee fund structure charts, KYC/AML letters, custody, share reconciliations, proxy voting, expenses, and audit coordination.
• Improve automation and reporting of manual processes with the technology team and support special projects.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
• 3+ years of experience in public accounting, private equity fund accounting, or private equity fund operations.
• Strong technical accounting, analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a dynamic professional environment.
• Ability to work independently, build cross-functional relationships, and identify process improvement opportunities.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
