Associate, Agency Services, Project Finance & Infrastructure (Project Finance)

Location: New York, NY; Job location: NY-New York, 300 Madison Ave Fl 8. Candidates must be legally eligible to work at the specified location and may need a valid work or study permit.

Salary: $150,000–$185,000 annually for the New York, NY market, based on experience, qualifications, and location. Incentive compensation and a discretionary bonus may also apply.

What you will do

• Provide dedicated coverage for agented and bilateral project finance transactions in coordination with Portfolio Management, Deal Execution, and the Toronto-based CPS Agency team.
• Act as the main point of contact for sponsors, borrowers, consultants, lawyers, lenders, and other transaction stakeholders.
• Coordinate lender responses to borrower requests involving amendments, waivers, consents, extensions, and refinancings.
• Coordinate and direct transaction advisors, including independent engineers, legal advisors, and insurance consultants.
• Distribute required information and reports, and organize lender and sponsor calls and updates.
• Determine lender approvals and declines, answer credit and deal-structure questions, and support reporting and presentations to senior management.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in project finance, preferably in an Agency Services function.
• Experience with project finance loan documentation and knowledge of the roles and responsibilities of transaction advisors.
• Solid understanding of credit standards and terms for project financings.
• Demonstrated client and relationship management, stakeholder engagement, consensus-building, and operational efficiency skills.
• Ability to work closely with Portfolio Management and the credit approval process.
• Legal eligibility to work at the New York location; a valid work or study permit may be required where applicable.
