Senior Technical Product Manager (Cybersecurity)

What you will do

• Define product specifications, user stories, acceptance criteria, and roadmap priorities.
• Manage the product backlog while balancing business priorities with technical constraints.
• Work with Engineering and QA to deliver endpoint and agent-based software.
• Evaluate technical tradeoffs across operating systems and platforms, including performance and resource-footprint requirements.
• Translate customer and technical requirements into clear product specifications and integration points.
• Conduct competitive analysis and track cybersecurity and technology trends.

Requirements

• 5+ years of product management experience in the cybersecurity industry.
• Strong technical understanding of network security, operating systems, and networking fundamentals.
• Working knowledge of native firewall or filtering architectures across at least two of Windows, Linux, and macOS.
• Experience defining requirements for agent-based or endpoint software, including deployment, updates, and rollback mechanics.
• Ability to read API and technical documentation and collaborate with engineering on integration points.
• Excellent English writing skills required. A bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field is advantageous.

Nice to have

• Experience with AIX or other legacy Unix filtering technologies.
• Technical background as a developer.
• Experience in IT systems or networking.
