Senior Product Manager (Data Security)

What you will do

• Define the product vision, strategy, roadmap, and success measures for the DSPM and data governance product area.
• Lead discovery with enterprise customers, security teams, governance teams, and data owners.
• Develop capabilities for sensitive-data discovery and classification, exposure management, access governance, risk prioritization, and remediation.
• Translate technical and policy requirements into product requirements, intuitive workflows, and development priorities.
• Partner with engineering, security research, design, sales, marketing, and customer success throughout the product lifecycle.
• Use customer feedback and product insights to improve adoption and outcomes while shaping the broader data security strategy.

Requirements

• 3+ years of product management experience building B2B enterprise software.
• Substantial experience in data security, DSPM, or security-focused data governance, with a proven record of delivering products in this domain.
• Strong understanding of sensitive-data discovery and classification, data exposure, permissions, access controls, and security or governance policies.
• Technical fluency in cloud and enterprise data environments, including architecture, integrations, and technical tradeoffs.
• Experience owning a product area from strategy through launch and iteration, with strong customer discovery and communication skills.
• Ability to align cross-functional teams, influence decisions, and work effectively through ambiguity.

Nice to have

• Experience with data lineage, catalogs, retention, residency, compliance, or audit workflows.
• Experience with DLP, database security, identity and permissions, or automated remediation.
• Experience building products across cloud, SaaS, and on-premises data environments.
• Experience securing data used by AI applications, copilots, or agents.
• Experience working with enterprise security leaders, data owners, and governance teams.
