TL;DR
SQL Developer (SQL Server): Developing and maintaining stored procedures, functions, and advanced queries for a technology project with an accent on database reliability, query optimization, and SQL Server performance. Focus on tuning database environments, optimizing existing procedures, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to improve database efficiency.

Location: Lisbon, Portugal; hybrid schedule with two days per week at the office

What you will do

  • Develop and maintain stored procedures and functions in SQL Server.
  • Write and optimize advanced SQL queries for business needs.
  • Perform database tuning and performance optimization in SQL Server environments.
  • Optimize existing queries and stored procedures.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure database reliability and efficiency.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
  • At least 3 years of experience with SQL Server.
  • Proven experience creating stored procedures, functions, and advanced queries.
  • Experience with database tuning and performance optimization in SQL Server.
  • Fluent English at B2 level or above and Portuguese are required.

Nice to have

  • Experience with DevOps practices.
