Senior Backend Developer (.NET)

Location: Hybrid in Lisbon, Portugal

What you will do

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend applications using .NET Core and C#.
• Develop and optimize RESTful APIs and microservices architectures.
• Ensure application performance, security, reliability, scalability, and code quality.
• Manage production incidents, perform root cause analysis, and implement preventive actions.
• Monitor application health through logs, metrics, and traces, and support CI/CD processes and deployments.
• Collaborate with product and business teams while contributing to technical documentation and knowledge sharing.

Requirements

• Degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• 5+ years of backend development experience with C# and .NET.
• Strong experience with .NET Core, RESTful APIs, Entity Framework Core, and SQL Server.
• Hands-on experience with microservices, Docker, and Kubernetes.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, Azure DevOps, and cloud environments, preferably Azure.
• Strong troubleshooting, debugging, performance analysis, observability, and incident management skills; professionally proficient English required.
