Senior Python Developer (Infrastructure)

Location: Porto, Portugal; hybrid work model. Candidates must have an existing legal right to work in the European Union.

What you will do

• Develop backend solutions with Python and Django aligned with business needs.
• Design and maintain resilient architectures for scalability and high performance.
• Implement Test Driven Development to improve code quality and reliability.
• Drive continuous improvement through DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines.
• Refactor systems and enhance architecture while maintaining simple, clean designs.
• Collaborate through pair programming, daily standups, code reviews, and sprint activities.

Requirements

• 9+ years of professional Python development experience focused on backend systems.
• Strong expertise in Python, Django, TDD, DevOps, CI/CD, refactoring, and clean architecture.
• Leadership, mentoring, collaboration, and autonomous working skills.
• Experience in agile environments and continuous learning practices.
• Fluent English is required.
• Existing legal right to work in the European Union is required.
