What you will do

• Design and maintain scalable, performant backend architectures with Django.
• Apply Test Driven Development to improve code reliability, maintainability, and quality.
• Lead technical decisions and champion continuous improvement initiatives.
• Refactor existing codebases while preserving functionality and clarity.
• Mentor team members and collaborate within Agile development environments.
• Apply DevOps practices and CI/CD tools and methodologies.

Requirements

• 9+ years of experience as a Lead Python Developer.
• Deep knowledge of Test Driven Development and refactoring techniques.
• Proficiency with Django and clean architecture principles.
• Familiarity with DevOps practices, CI/CD, and Agile methodologies.
• Autonomous, performance-driven leadership with experience mentoring team members.
• Fluent English at B2 level; based in Portugal with Portuguese or EU citizenship, or a valid Portuguese work permit.
