Senior .NET Developer

Location: Fully remote, but candidates must live in Portugal or be legally qualified to live and work there. Lisbon and Coimbra are listed as locations.

Salary: €35,310–€54,400 gross per year

What you will do

• Develop and maintain backend software using C# and .NET.
• Build intuitive digital products and CMS-based web applications.
• Design and integrate relational databases, APIs, and external systems.
• Write structured, testable, and efficient code following .NET best practices.
• Use Agentic AI tools such as Cursor IDE and GitHub Copilot for development, refactoring, and debugging.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams on projects for international clients.

Requirements

• 5+ years of backend development experience with C# or .NET.
• Solid software development background and understanding of object-oriented programming.
• Experience with relational databases, preferably MS SQL Server.
• Experience integrating APIs or other systems.
• Experience with CMS-based web applications such as Sitecore, Umbraco, DNN, or comparable platforms.
• Fluent spoken and written English, and legal eligibility to live and work in Portugal.
