Practice Director (PeopleSoft & Banner)

Location: Remote; based in the U.S. or Canada. Occasional client travel of 15–20% is required.

What you will do

• Define the roadmap and service offerings for the PeopleSoft and Banner practice.
• Lead pre-sales activities, including solution architecture, estimating, and presentations to C-suite prospects.
• Own practice P&L, margins, resource utilization, financial forecasting, and contract renewals.
• Oversee full-lifecycle ERP managed services, upgrades, migrations, SLAs, and operational metrics.
• Act as the executive escalation point for client sponsors and manage portfolio risks, budgets, and change control.
• Drive ERP optimization, AI integration, and continuous innovation programs while mentoring global delivery leads.

Requirements

• 15+ years of progressive leadership experience in ERP consulting, including at least 5 years as a Director or Practice Lead.
• Deep expertise in PeopleSoft HCM, FSCM, Campus Solutions, and/or Ellucian Banner.
• Experience overseeing Oracle E-Business Suite and JD Edwards programs.
• Extensive experience migrating legacy ERP environments to Oracle Cloud Infrastructure and understanding ERP architecture, integrations, security, and shared-services models.
• Experience supporting higher education or state and local government clients is highly preferred.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in IT, Business, or a related field; PMP or equivalent executive leadership certification is preferred.
