Sr. Director, Software Engineering - B2B

Location: Los Angeles, California; hybrid

Pay scale: $235,000–$265,000 annually, plus eligibility for a bonus.

What you will do

• Lead and grow the engineering team responsible for next-generation B2B event tools.
• Own development of event configuration tools used to create and manage events throughout their lifecycle.
• Partner with product leadership on roadmap, architecture, prioritization, and technical direction.
• Sequence major initiatives, reduce technical risk, and keep teams aligned as priorities change.
• Scale the platform while maintaining high standards for reliability, performance, and quality.
• Develop engineers, senior individual contributors, and emerging engineering leaders.

Requirements

• 7+ years of technical and management leadership experience.
• 10+ years of hands-on experience designing and building software platforms.
• Experience coding in .NET or Node.js and working in CI/CD environments.
• Experience deploying to cloud environments and using logging, monitoring, and alerting practices.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience.
• Clear communication, strong collaboration, stakeholder alignment, and current use of AI tools to scale work.

Nice to have

• Experience with containers, container orchestration, AWS or comparable cloud-native architecture.
• Experience with marketplaces, payments, third-party integrations, or high-throughput consumer platforms.
