Junior Hebrew Linguist (Localization)

Location: Remote, with Tel Aviv, Israel listed as the location

hirify.global operates a localization production department supporting translation and language-related projects.

What you will do

• Perform copy-editing and on-demand translation tasks for assigned projects and accounts.
• Review internally and externally translated deliveries in Hebrew and maintain quality standards.
• Prepare and update glossaries, style guides, and work instructions.
• Manage project-related queries and resolve terminology and language questions.
• Coordinate with freelancers, agencies, clients, and internal linguists.
• Test and qualify vendors, train linguists, and propose process improvements while meeting productivity, quality, and delivery KPIs.

Requirements

• University degree in translation, applied languages, linguistic studies, or equivalent education and experience.
• Native fluency in Hebrew and fluent written and spoken English.
• 0–2 years of experience in translation or creating easy-to-read texts.
• Understanding of localization processes, terminology, CAT tools such as XTM or SDL Studio, and issue-tracking tools such as Jira.
• Strong communication, problem-solving, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to learn new tools quickly, work with tight deadlines, train others, and collaborate in a virtual team.
