German Translator (AI/3D Printing)

What you will do

• Post-edit English marketing materials, product content, and software UIs translated into German by a custom AI model.
• Review approved content for accuracy, quality, consistency, and appropriate tone.
• Provide feedback to localization managers and content writers to improve source content and workflows.
• Use CAT tools and maintain the German termbase and translation memory.
• Localize video content, including subtitles, voice-over creation or editing, and refinement of AI-generated video content.
• Research specialized terminology for technical, scientific, medical, commercial, and manufacturing content.

Requirements

• Native-level German proficiency at C2 level with impeccable grammar.
• Exceptional written and verbal English communication skills.
• At least two years of translation and editing experience in freelance, agency, or in-house settings.
• Understanding of marketing communication style, tone, and brand strategy.
• Familiarity with CAT tools such as memoQ, XTM, Trados, or Memsource.
• Ability to explain complex technical and non-technical concepts clearly, meet tight deadlines, and work independently.

Nice to have

• Experience with SEO or AI Search Optimization.
• Knowledge of manufacturing tools such as 3D printers or CAD/CAM solutions.
