Director Quality Product Assurance (Aerospace)

Location: Lone Tree, Colorado, United States; in-office role. Occasional travel may be required.

Estimated starting salary: $167,490.31–$230,299.19 per year, plus performance-based annual incentive pay.

What you will do

• Develop and implement the company-wide quality strategy.
• Lead and mentor senior quality managers across quality functions.
• Drive continuous improvement, innovation, and effective change management.
• Ensure compliance with industry regulations, customer requirements, ISO 9001, AS9100, and CMMI standards.
• Represent the organization in high-level quality discussions with customers and regulatory bodies.
• Build accountability, collaboration, succession planning, and strategic capability across the quality organization.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field and 13+ years of related experience; a degree may be substituted with 17 years of related experience, and a higher relevant degree may substitute for experience.
• Extensive leadership experience in quality management, including mentoring, career development, training, performance reviews, and change management.
• In-depth knowledge of ISO 9001, AS9100, and CMMI standards.
• Extensive experience working with electronic and mechanical systems.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, presentation, conflict-resolution, decision-making, and strategic-thinking skills.
• Must be a U.S. citizen and able to obtain and maintain a Secret U.S. Security Clearance.

Nice to have

• Experience in aerospace, aviation, defense, manufacturing, or integrated supply chain program development.
• Six Sigma Black Belt or Master Black Belt certification.
• Certified Manager of Quality / Organizational Excellence, Certified Quality Improvement Associate, or Certified Quality Auditor credentials.
• Experience implementing quality management systems and governance frameworks.
• Demonstrated intellectual curiosity, innovation, team motivation, and long-term strategic planning.
