Quality and Supply Chain Engineer (Aerospace & Defense)

What you will do

• Support implementation and maintenance of the AS9100 quality management system, including document control, audits, corrective actions, and continuous improvement.
• Track quality and delivery metrics, customer feedback, supplier scorecards, on-time delivery, defects, warranty returns, and audit results.
• Coordinate inspections, final quality release, nonconformity responses, supplier corrective actions, and product traceability records.
• Execute purchasing activities, onboard suppliers, communicate technical and quality requirements, and monitor supplier performance.
• Maintain material status, inventory, MRP data, bills of material, production work orders, and kit pulls.
• Coordinate customer, intercompany, demonstration, and international shipments, including freight-forwarder coordination and shipment documentation.

Requirements

• Associate's Degree in Engineering or a related field; a Bachelor's Degree or higher is preferred.
• At least 5 years of experience in related engineering roles.
• At least 2 years of experience with AS9100 quality certifications and quality management systems.
• Must be a US Citizen and able to obtain a security clearance.
• Ability to work with Engineering, Production, Quality, Finance, suppliers, intercompany partners, and freight providers.
