Quality Inspector II (Aerospace)

Location: Onsite in New Port Richey, Florida, USA. Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM–4:30 PM; overtime is routine. The role requires access to export-controlled commodities and requires U.S. citizenship, U.S. legal permanent resident status, protected person status, or U.S. government export authorization.

What you will do

• Perform final dimensional and visual inspections across value streams, including receiving inspection.
• Verify incoming parts, documentation, certifications, purchase order requirements, drawings, and customer requirements.
• Inspect complex, close-tolerance machined parts and sub-assemblies using CMMs, micrometers, calipers, bore gauges, optical comparators, height gauges, ring gauges, pin gauges, and other precision equipment.
• Participate in quality problem resolution, write nonconformances, and work with the Quality Engineer on corrective actions.
• Maintain a clean, neat, and safe work environment while meeting production deadlines.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED and at least two years of inspection experience in aerospace, military, or machining manufacturing.
• Experience in an ISO 9001 or AS9100 environment.
• Ability to interpret complex engineering drawings, read blueprints, and work with aerospace customer flow-down requirements.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, an ERP system such as SAP, and precision inspection instruments.
• U.S. citizenship, U.S. legal permanent resident status, protected person status, or U.S. government export authorization is required.
• Ability to lift 35 pounds daily, work overtime and flexible hours, and pass required vision and color-deficiency examinations.
