Litho Process Engineering Technician (Semiconductor)

Location: Malta, New York, United States; onsite role in the Fab 8 semiconductor manufacturing facility. The position requires flexibility to work alternating 12-hour day or night shifts, including the D shift from 6:00 PM to 6:30 AM.

Expected salary: $43,100–$70,600 per year. The exact salary depends on qualifications, experience, and location.

What you will do

• Monitor, control, and test equipment and products for manufacturing readiness.
• Monitor workstation performance and make incremental process adjustments to maintain production efficiency.
• Troubleshoot equipment interruptions, process deviations, factory system errors, and product defects.
• Review Statistical Process Control charts and respond to out-of-control conditions.
• Document events, communicate end-of-shift pass-downs, and provide concise process updates to lead technicians and engineers.
• Develop and update operating procedures, support training, and participate in continuous improvement initiatives.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent; no prior experience required.
• English fluency required for written and verbal communication.
• Intermediate computer skills, including Excel and Outlook.
• Ability to work in a cleanroom while wearing required semiconductor protective clothing.
• Ability to sit for extended periods during 12-hour shifts and lift product carriers weighing up to 20 pounds for short distances.
• Ability and willingness to work alternating day or night shifts. A U.S. Department of Defense Security Clearance may be required during employment.

Nice to have

• Two or more years of experience in semiconductor manufacturing, production, data analysis, computer information systems, or a related technical field.
• Military, customer service, computer science, engineering, software, or Microsoft Office experience.
