Process Engineer (Thin Film)

Location: Niagara Falls, NY, United States; onsite manufacturing position.

Salary: $85,000–$95,000 annually

What you will do

• Develop new and revise existing manufacturing processes to improve yields, product quality, and production costs.
• Create and maintain detailed production procedures and monitor process compliance.
• Implement Statistical Process Control to track and control process parameters.
• Identify capital equipment needs with production and maintenance technicians, then manage projects through implementation and production release.
• Train production, maintenance, and engineering personnel.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Materials Engineering, or Ceramic Engineering.
• 2–4 years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience with vacuum technology, photolithography, and thin-film deposition.
• Strong mechanical, electrical, and electronic aptitude.
• Microsoft Office experience, project management and organizational skills, attention to detail, and commitment to quality.
• Must qualify as a U.S. Person under applicable ITAR/EAR requirements, including U.S. citizenship, lawful permanent residency, refugee status, or asylee status.
