Manufacturing Technician (Semiconductor)

Location: Somerset, New Jersey, United States; onsite manufacturing role.

Salary: $45,460–$57,582 annually, plus bonus opportunity.

What you will do

• Troubleshoot testing discrepancies during assembly, acceptance testing, and final test.
• Work with Engineering, R&D, Manufacturing Engineering, and assembly technicians to resolve complex issues.
• Manage manufacturing test data for ETL and ATL acceptance testing.
• Compile statistical reports and analyze discrepancy data for each system.
• Develop corrective actions and help reduce customer source inspection findings.
• Improve test methods for existing products and collaborate on methodologies for new products and components.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 2–4 years of hands-on experience testing and troubleshooting complex systems.
• Knowledge of hardware, software, and control systems; Analog and D-Net knowledge is preferred.
• Experience with high-vacuum semiconductor hardware and manufacturing, high-voltage systems, and high-power systems is preferred.
• Mechanical aptitude, statistical data analysis, logical problem-solving, and recurring-issue resolution skills.
• Ability to lift 40 lbs and work overtime.

Nice to have

• Associate degree in technical engineering or a technical field-service background.
• SAP experience ranging from basic inquiries to complex reports and transactions.
