Process Engineer IV (E4) (Semiconductor Manufacturing)

Location: Santa Clara, California, United States; travel required approximately 20% of the time. Relocation eligible.

Salary: $147,000–$202,500 per year

What you will do

• Manage PVD, CVD, and ALD systems within safety guidelines.
• Design, execute, analyze, and document complex process engineering experiments across multiple products.
• Characterize hardware and film properties using measurement techniques, analytical instrumentation, and new methodologies.
• Drive process, hardware, product, and technology development projects with limited supervision.
• Troubleshoot complex engineering issues, resolve customer concerns, and collaborate with R&D teams, vendors, and suppliers.
• Train engineers, prepare technical reports and specifications, and lead functional teams or projects as needed.

Requirements

• More than 5 years of experience with PVD, CVD, and/or ALD.
• Conceptual and practical expertise in complex problem solving.
• Experience with process engineering experiments, hardware characterization, data analysis, and film-property measurement.
• MS or PhD preferred.
• Ability to work in Santa Clara, California, with approximately 20% travel.
