Controls & Systems Engineering Manager / Technical Lead (Electrical Engineering)

Location: Benicia, California, United States; travel required up to 10% of the time.

Salary: $144,000–$198,000 per year.

What you will do

• Determine the electrical components used in X-ray microscope products.
• Troubleshoot electrical component issues and mentor engineers in diagnostic methods.
• Synthesize and develop electrical design documentation.
• Design and develop electrical control systems, including PDUs and interlocks.
• Oversee EE and controls engineers while coordinating multiple design projects.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Physics.
• Experience with complex mechanical assemblies.
• Experience with motion control systems and EPICS/SCADA.
• Strong analytical, written, verbal communication, prioritization, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision and develop complex prototypes.
