Associate Scientist (Vaccines)

Location: On-premise in Pearl River, New York, United States. Candidates must have permanent authorization to work in the United States. U.S. work visa sponsorship is not available. Relocation assistance may be available based on business needs and eligibility.

Annual base salary: $60,200–$100,400, plus eligibility for a 7.5% performance bonus.

What you will do

• Execute high-throughput immunological assays supporting vaccine clinical programs.
• Conduct clinical immunology assays in accordance with Good Clinical Laboratory Practice requirements.
• Collect, organize, analyze, and review project data to support troubleshooting, assay qualification, and laboratory projects.
• Present experimental results at group and project meetings and prepare progress reports.
• Complete laboratory documentation, maintain supplies and reagents, and support daily laboratory operations.
• Follow procedures, complete required GCLP and safety training, and collaborate with the work group to meet deadlines.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in biology, immunology, microbiology, or another relevant scientific field.
• Foundational knowledge of general scientific practices, principles, and concepts in a relevant discipline.
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to perform mathematical calculations and complex data analysis.
• Ability to collaborate effectively in a team environment and organize work across multiple tasks.
• Ability to work in BSL2 conditions and spend extended periods sitting at a biosafety cabinet, with light lifting, standing, walking, and bending.
• Permanent U.S. work authorization is required; visa sponsorship is not available.

Nice to have

• Experience developing and troubleshooting bioassays that assess antibody functionality.
• Proficiency with Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and relevant scientific software.
• Strong problem-solving, communication, organizational, and independent-work skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
