Content Creator (Contractual)

Location: NYC hybrid; in-person events in NYC and Jersey City, with other work remote

Builds AI agents and event-driven content for enterprise customers, including banks and insurers.

What you will do

• Monitor trends across Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, X, and Reddit and turn them into memes and reels.
• Pitch content ideas and develop recognizable formats and series.
• Shoot photos, short-form video, behind-the-scenes footage, and interviews at executive dinners, hackathons, conferences, and side events.
• Produce event recaps, carousels, speaker clips, quote cards, highlights, teasers, and countdowns within 24–48 hours.
• Design graphics and templates in Canva or Figma and maintain the visual asset library.
• Write hooks, captions, and LinkedIn posts while tracking content performance.

Requirements

• Active understanding of social media, internet trends, and meme culture.
• Ability to create and edit content with a same-day turnaround.
• Experience with CapCut, Premiere, or similar video-editing tools, plus Canva or Figma.
• Ability to shoot well on a phone with attention to lighting, framing, and audio.
• Strong visual taste, brand adaptability, and attention to detail.
• Comfort filming CEOs and other event participants.

Nice to have

• Experience running a meme page or building a personal following.
• Motion graphics or After Effects experience.
• Content experience with a technology or startup brand.
• Curiosity about AI.
• Graduate student or recent graduate status.
