Manager, AI Enablement & Digital Content, VCA (AI)

Location: US - San Francisco, CA; hybrid schedule with at least 3 days in the office. The role requires 5-10% travel and is performed in an office setting.

Salary: $122,400-$217,000 USD per year, with potential bonus, equity, and sales incentive payments where applicable.

What you will do

• Develop AI enablement, training, learning, and capability-building materials such as guides, playbooks, toolkits, FAQs, competency guidelines, and onboarding content.
• Create transformation narratives, employee updates, town hall materials, newsletters, and other communications supporting VCA’s transition to an AI-enabled consulting firm.
• Use AI tools such as Claude, Claude Code, ChatGPT, Microsoft Copilot, Gemini, and Perplexity to improve research, synthesis, content development, and workflow efficiency.
• Create digital and thought-leadership content, including LinkedIn posts, articles, points of view, podcasts, social assets, and multimedia materials.
• Transform research, whitepapers, client testimonials, and internal insights into compelling, AI- and search-optimized content.
• Support VCA’s consulting teams by creating scalable resources, AI-enabled workflows, agents, and knowledge-sharing materials.

Requirements

• 5 or more years of relevant experience with a Bachelor’s degree, or 2 or more years with an advanced degree, or no experience with a PhD.
• Strong writing, editing, storytelling, communication, organizational, and stakeholder-management skills.
• Experience using AI tools and experimenting with prompts, AI-enabled workflows, agents, and emerging AI capabilities.
• Ability to simplify complex research, insights, and technical concepts for different audiences.
• Experience creating presentations, web content, FAQs, toolkits, newsletters, thought-leadership materials, social media content, and employee- or client-facing assets.
• Availability for a hybrid schedule requiring at least 3 days in the San Francisco office.

Nice to have

• Six or more years of relevant experience with a Bachelor’s degree or four or more years with an advanced degree.
• Experience in transformation, consulting, strategy, enablement, communications, thought leadership, or digital content.
• Basic graphic design or video-editing skills using tools such as Canva, CapCut, Descript, Adobe Creative Cloud, or iMovie.
