EHS Manager

Location: Hybrid in Portugal, with office presence in Lisboa/Amadora; international and on-site travel of approximately 20% required.

What you will do

• Drive initiatives that strengthen the organizational safety culture and support the Zero Harm framework.
• Lead and support EHS training to improve awareness, compliance, and continuous improvement.
• Analyze EHS data and report incident statistics to identify trends and improvement areas.
• Provide guidance on environmental, health, and safety matters and address compliance gaps.
• Facilitate EQS community meetings and promote the exchange of EHS information.
• Support root cause analyses of EHS events and track corrective actions.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, industrial engineering, environmental engineering, or a related technical field.
• CAP level VI certification as a Senior Occupational Health and Safety Professional from the Portuguese Authority for Working Conditions (ACT).
• 3–6 years of experience with high-risk activities, including cranes and lifting, machine guarding, and energy isolation.
• Experience with EHS management systems, including ISO 14001 and ISO 45001, auditing, and root cause investigation.
• Good written and spoken Portuguese and English.
• Availability for on-site and international travel for approximately 20% of the time.

Nice to have

• Good level of French.
• Specialist training in occupational safety.
