EHS Specialist, EMEA Field Operations

Location: Remote, based in York, United Kingdom; travel throughout the UK and EMEA region required, up to 30%, with occasional travel to headquarters in London, Ontario, Canada.

What you will do

• Develop, implement, monitor, and continuously improve EHS programs and policies across EMEA field operations.
• Ensure compliance with local regulations, Veralto standards, and customer-specific EHS requirements.
• Manage third-party EHS providers and coordinate occupational health, medical monitoring, and compliance programs.
• Deliver safety training and onboarding, lead incident investigations and safety meetings, and promote employee engagement.
• Conduct risk assessments, field inspections, and compliance audits covering equipment, chemicals, processes, and work locations.
• Track KPIs and incident trends in Cority, maintain EHS documentation, and coordinate corrective actions and emergency preparedness.

Requirements

• Strong knowledge of EHS regulations across the UK and broader EMEA region, including HSWA, COSHH, PUWER, and contractor management requirements.
• Understanding of ISO 45001 and ISO 14001 management systems and experience with EHS management software and reporting tools.
• NEBOSH General Certificate or equivalent recognized health and safety qualification; a bachelor's degree in occupational health and safety, safety engineering, environmental sciences, or a related field.
• At least 5 years of EHS experience, ideally in field service, industrial, engineering, or technical operations.
• Excellent written and verbal English communication skills, with strong stakeholder management, analytical, organizational, and project management abilities.
• Valid driver's license and willingness to travel up to 30% throughout the UK and EMEA.
