Principal Product Manager (AI)

Location: Dublin, Ireland or Toronto, Ontario, Canada. Hybrid role requiring attendance at the local office 2 days per week, in-person orientation on the first Tuesday of employment, and North American working hours.

Annual base salary: CAD 173,000–237,600 for candidates in Canada; EUR 130,000–156,000 for candidates in Ireland. Equity, bonus, healthcare coverage, and financial benefits may also apply.

What you will do

• Own the vision, product requirements, roadmap, and prioritized backlog for internal developer productivity and AI tooling.
• Interview engineers, engineering managers, technical leads, and architects to identify development friction and establish baseline cycle-time metrics.
• Evaluate coding agents, MCPs, build systems, CI/CD, code review tools, and other inner- and outer-loop technologies against security and total-cost criteria.
• Partner with Developer Productivity Engineering to define MVPs, manage sprints, and incrementally ship developer workflows.
• Drive adoption by resolving security, legal, privacy, procurement, and budget obstacles while measuring cycle time, quality, and toil reduction.
• Coordinate standardization across Okta and Auth0 and turn high-performing team practices into scalable playbooks.

Requirements

• 5+ years of product management experience with developer platforms, developer tools, cloud infrastructure, or AI products.
• Experience owning internal or platform products where adoption is driven by product quality rather than mandate.
• Strong understanding of source control, IDEs, CI/CD, testing, code review, observability, and production operations.
• Current hands-on fluency with coding agents, context management, MCP, evaluation frameworks, and AI-assisted software development risks.
• Experience designing technology evaluations, controlled experiments, and developer productivity measurement systems.
• Ability to influence senior stakeholders across engineering, security, architecture, and finance without direct authority, with excellent written communication.

Nice to have

• Experience scaling developer tools across large, multi-organization engineering environments and consolidating divergent technology stacks.
• Familiarity with developer AI tools, APIs, MCPs, agent orchestration frameworks, DORA, SPACE, and DX Core 4.
• Experience establishing governance, evaluation frameworks, or spend management for consumption-priced technologies.
