Data Center Project Manager (Data Center)

Location: Altoona, IA, United States; regular on-site presence is required, including warehouse and production-floor work. Extended on-site weeks may be required during leadership transitions and critical production periods. Travel to other rack integration and data center sites is required for alignment, benchmarking, and transition support.

Salary: $132,240–$208,800 USD gross base pay annually.

What you will do

• Own end-to-end delivery of an operational pre-integrated rack production and deployment program.
• Translate rack demand and need-by dates into production schedules, rack arrival plans, materials plans, and capacity models.
• Coordinate materials, BOM matching, inventory balance, warehouse operations, logistics, and integration-partner throughput.
• Own QA/QC failure triage, RMA resolution, on-site rack variations, and deployment-methodology compliance.
• Build forecasts, trackers, dashboards, KPI reporting, and data-reconciliation processes for backlog, readiness, throughput, and schedule attainment.
• Lead cross-functional reviews, resolve ownership disputes, manage risks and changes, and communicate capacity constraints and revised dates to leadership.

Requirements

• 5–8 years of progressive experience in program management, production or deployment operations, supply chain, or infrastructure deployment.
• Bachelor’s degree in project management, supply chain, business administration, engineering, operations, information technology, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
• Experience with demand forecasting, move orders, BOM matching, inbound and outbound logistics, inventory balance, warehouse operations, and capacity planning.
• Experience owning QA/QC and RMA processes for hardware or integrated equipment.
• Ability to create production schedules, forecasts, capacity models, dashboards, trackers, KPI reports, and data reconciliations from scratch.
• Ability to work regularly on site and comply with site safety, security, and confidentiality requirements.

Nice to have

• Experience in data center infrastructure, rack integration, manufacturing, logistics, or similarly complex operational environments.
• Managerial experience and experience coordinating vendor or integration-partner delivery.
• Project management, supply chain, or process improvement certification.
• Experience improving an established site, production line, or program while maintaining operational continuity.
