Operations Project Manager (Manufacturing)

Location: Onsite in Boulder, Colorado, United States

Salary: $100,000–$125,000 per year, depending on experience

What you will do

• Create and execute production planning strategies with Production and Customer Service to meet customer demand within capacity constraints.
• Develop project scopes, objectives, deliverables, timelines, resource plans, and budgets.
• Lead project teams, monitor progress, manage risks, and implement mitigation strategies.
• Coordinate with stakeholders and senior management on requirements, status, issues, and deliverables.
• Ensure quality standards, organizational policies, cost controls, and project objectives are met.
• Identify process improvements, lead post-project evaluations, and mentor junior project managers and team members.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Project Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field.
• 8–10 years of project management experience in a manufacturing environment, including 3–5 years in a senior project management role.
• Experience managing large and complex projects successfully.
• Strong leadership, communication, interpersonal, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Advanced proficiency with project management software and tools, including the ability to manage multiple projects under pressure.
• Lean Six Sigma Green Belt certification required; Black Belt preferred.

Nice to have

• Project Management Professional (PMP) or equivalent certification.
• Program Management Professional (PgMP) or PMI Agile Certified Practitioner (PMI-ACP) certification.
