Staff Software Engineer (C#/.NET)

Location: Hybrid work in New York, NY or Silicon Valley, CA

Base salary: $180,000–$270,000 USD annually

What you will do

• Design and develop backend services, APIs, and data models for scheduling and availability systems.
• Build primarily with C#/.NET and AWS technologies including DynamoDB, Lambda, SQS/SNS, and Kinesis.
• Drive architectural decisions for complex scheduling logic serving millions of bookings.
• Lead cross-team technical initiatives and improve engineering quality, reliability, and operational ownership.
• Collaborate with engineers, product managers, and designers to deliver healthcare booking features.
• Mentor engineers and contribute to engineering excellence, including the use of GenAI tools.

Requirements

• Experience designing and delivering backend systems with complex domain logic at scale.
• Strong understanding of performance, scalability, reliability, and operational excellence.
• Ability to turn ambiguous problems into clear technical direction.
• Experience mentoring engineers and promoting engineering best practices.
• Experience integrating generative AI tools into daily workflows.
• Strong communication skills and a commitment to inclusive, equitable workplaces.
