Software Engineer II (C#/.NET)

Location: Lehi, Utah, United States (hybrid)

Salary: $90,000–$110,000 annualized base pay

hirify.global's Property and Restoration Solutions division develops desktop software for property and restoration workflows.

What you will do

• Build and maintain Windows desktop features using C#, .NET, WPF, WinForms, WinUI, and MVVM.
• Design features, refactor legacy code, and migrate applications from .NET Framework to modern .NET.
• Integrate desktop clients with RESTful backend services and local or remote data stores using SQL, JSON, XML, and Entity Framework.
• Write unit, integration, and UI automation tests while diagnosing crashes, memory leaks, performance issues, and production defects.
• Contribute to Azure DevOps CI/CD pipelines, desktop installers, code signing, packaging, and auto-update mechanisms.
• Review code, mentor junior developers, collaborate with product, QA, UX, and automation teams, and participate in agile ceremonies.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 2–5 years of professional software development experience or equivalent ability.
• Strong proficiency in C# and .NET 6+ and/or .NET Framework 4.x, with hands-on Windows desktop development using WPF, WinForms, or WinUI.
• Knowledge of MVVM, dependency injection, SOLID principles, asynchronous programming, threading, and responsive UI design.
• Experience with RESTful services, SQL, JSON, XML, Visual Studio, Git, CI/CD tools, automated testing, and production debugging.
• Ability to work in the hybrid role based in Lehi, Utah, United States.

Nice to have

• Experience migrating .NET Framework applications to modern .NET.
• Familiarity with Windows APIs, P/Invoke, COM interop, desktop installers, code signing, and update mechanisms.
• Experience with performance profiling, memory analysis, AWS or Azure services, and graphics or document-heavy desktop applications.
