Staff Software Engineer (.NET)

Location: Wilmington, Massachusetts, USA — headquarters; onsite role

Salary: $138,074.75–$204,600.00 base pay annually

What you will do

• Design and develop real-time distributed software for inventory induction and customer order fulfillment.
• Evolve the architecture from monolithic services toward microservices using .NET Core, Kubernetes, RabbitMQ, and Redis.
• Build distributed systems using multithreading and multiprocessing concepts.
• Design, develop, review, and test new functionality as part of a hands-on engineering team.
• Collaborate with development teams, project managers, and product managers to decompose requirements and deliver solutions.

Requirements

• Computer Science degree, related technical education, or equivalent experience.
• At least 8 years of professional software application development experience.
• At least 1 year of experience with data and SQL platforms, including SQL Server or MySQL.
• Object-oriented design and programming experience with C# or Java.
• Experience with source control, unit testing, design and defect tracking tools, multithreading, multiprocessing, and software/hardware integration.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work independently in an agile, cross-functional environment.
