Salary: £45,000–£60,000 per annum

Established and growing business offering a hands-on finance role with direct responsibility for day-to-day financial operations and support for commercial decision-making.
What you will do
- Manage purchase ledger, sales ledger, credit control, supplier payments, and bank reconciliations.
- Process weekly and monthly payroll.
- Assist with monthly management accounts and financial reporting.
- Support budgeting, forecasting, and cashflow management.
- Prepare VAT returns and manage CIS requirements.
- Support year-end accounts and improve financial processes.
Requirements
- Previous experience in a varied finance or accounts role.
- Experience with payroll and management accounts.
- Good understanding of VAT, reconciliations, and financial controls.
- Strong Excel skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently in a hands-on role.
- AAT qualification, part-qualified ACCA/CIMA status, or equivalent experience is advantageous.
Nice to have
- Experience with SAP, BrightPay, or an SME environment.
