Finance Director (Manufacturing)

hirify.global is recruiting for a growing manufacturing business seeking strategic financial leadership during its next phase of growth.

What you will do

• Lead statutory reporting, year-end activities, and relationships with external auditors.
• Act as the technical accounting lead, advising on complex accounting matters and new standards.
• Oversee monthly management accounts, board reporting, and financial performance analysis.
• Strengthen financial controls, governance, risk management, budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow processes.
• Partner with operational and manufacturing teams on cost control, efficiency, business growth, and capital investment decisions.
• Develop and mentor the finance team while building a high-performing finance function.

Requirements

• Qualified accountant with ACA, ACCA, or equivalent certification.
• Significant experience in manufacturing, industrial, engineering, or product-based businesses.
• Strong background in statutory reporting, external audit management, and technical accounting.
• Excellent understanding of financial controls, compliance, and governance requirements.
• Proven leadership, stakeholder management, and communication skills.
• Commercially aware, hands-on, pragmatic, and effective in a fast-paced environment.
