Senior People Systems Analyst (Workday)

Location: Pleasanton, United States; hybrid work with at least 3 days per week in the office for candidates within a reasonable commute

Salary: $120,000–$150,000 per year

What you will do

• Serve as a Workday technical subject matter expert for HCM, Absence, and Benefits projects, upgrades, and new functionality.
• Configure, test, troubleshoot, and maintain Workday Absence and Benefits modules.
• Own benefits carrier data feeds, connectors, integrations, and single sign-on functionality.
• Design and run advanced Workday reports, combine data from multiple systems, and analyze HR trends.
• Resolve system issues, protect data integrity and compliance, and partner with HR, IT, department leaders, employees, and vendors.
• Support HR system implementations, documentation, training, and multiple concurrent projects.

Requirements

• 5+ years of related HRIS or People Systems experience and a bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• Extensive hands-on experience with Workday HCM configuration, security, business processes, and reporting.
• Demonstrated experience with Workday Absence and Benefits setup, maintenance, and optimization.
• Strong technical, analytical, reporting, problem-solving, troubleshooting, and data integration skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to explain technical information to nontechnical users.
• Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, take ownership, and meet deadlines.

Nice to have

• Workday certification in HCM, Absence, or Benefits.
• Degree in human resource management, computer information systems, or a related field.
• SPHR, PHR, SHRM-SCP, or SHRM-CP certification.
