Workday Analyst

Location: Hybrid, with offices in San Francisco or New York; commutable access is preferred.

Salary: $150,000–$180,000 per year, plus equity.

What you will do

• Own Workday configuration, including business processes, security groups and roles, custom reports, calculated fields, and tenant settings.
• Build and run EIB loads for data changes, mass updates, and audits.
• Manage the twice-yearly Workday release cycle, including feature evaluation, regression testing, and safe rollout.
• Shadow the implementation, assume tenant ownership at go-live, and monitor integrations with IT teams and vendors.
• Support payroll configuration with Accounting and the payroll services provider.
• Resolve system requests and mentor the People team on Workday administration.

Requirements

• 4+ years administering a live Workday tenant in-house on the customer side.
• Deep experience with Workday HCM core, business process configuration, security administration, and Report Writer.
• Hands-on experience with EIBs and end-to-end data loads.
• Experience delivering multiple Workday releases and testing changes.
• Clear written communication for documentation and change notes.
• Ability to work in a hybrid setup connected to the San Francisco or New York office is preferred.

• Workday Payroll configuration experience.
• Workday Benefits or Absence Management configuration experience.
• Workday Pro or similar certifications.
• Interest in AI tools that improve existing workflows.
