Senior Workday Configurator, Talent (Workday)

Location: Fully remote within the United States; occasional travel to hirify.global offices for training or meetings may be required.

Salary: $97,900–$133,500 per year, plus eligibility for a bonus incentive plan.

What you will do

• Design, configure, test, implement, and support scalable Workday Talent and Performance solutions.
• Gather requirements, translate business needs into sustainable configurations, and perform impact assessments.
• Configure and maintain business processes, condition rules, notifications, security considerations, and related Workday framework components.
• Partner with HR, Talent, Performance, Technology, IT, integration, and configuration teams on enterprise initiatives.
• Support release management, governance, documentation, change control, testing, and ongoing platform optimization.
• Provide advanced troubleshooting and Tier 3 support for complex production issues.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Information Systems, Business Administration, Computer Science, or a related field.
• At least 5 years of experience configuring and supporting HR technology solutions, including at least 3 years of hands-on Workday configuration experience.
• Experience with Workday Talent and Performance functionality, including Performance Management, Goals, Feedback, Talent Reviews, Succession Planning, or Skills.
• Experience gathering business requirements and translating them into scalable Workday solutions.
• Experience with unit testing, system integration testing, user acceptance testing, production validation, and cross-functional process improvement.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, troubleshooting, written communication, and verbal communication skills.

Nice to have

• Workday Pro certification in Talent, Performance, HCM, or a related area.
• Seven or more years of HR technology or HRIS experience, including Workday implementations, enhancements, or transformations.
• Experience with skills-based organizations, workforce transformation, Workday releases, integrations, and governance processes.
• Experience with Workday reporting, dashboards, data analysis, and AI-enabled HR technologies.
• Experience mentoring junior team members and working in large, complex enterprise environments.
