Translation and Localization Project Manager

Location: Riga, Latvia; on-site in the Riga office with partial remote work available after the trial period

What you will do

• Manage translation and localization projects from initial request through final delivery.
• Prepare quotes, timelines, project instructions, and client-facing requirements.
• Assign work to translators, revisers, editors, and QA specialists.
• Coordinate source and target files, CAT tools, client portals, and project workflows.
• Monitor deadlines, budgets, progress, and deliverable quality.
• Identify and resolve project issues before they affect delivery.

Requirements

• Excellent written and spoken English
• Strong multitasking skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to remain calm under pressure and communicate clearly with clients and linguists.
• Comfort working with source files, target files, delivery packages, word counts, deadlines, and client instructions.
• Understanding of CAT tools, translation memories, QA steps, and multilingual workflows.
• Confidence using MS Office and everyday business tools.

Nice to have

• Experience with memoQ, Trados Studio, XTRF, or similar systems.
• Experience working with people from different countries and cultures.
