Auto Liability Claim Representative

Location: Hybrid in Franklin, Tennessee, with another location in Independence, Ohio; United States

Annual base salary: $67,000–$110,600, plus eligibility for performance-based cash incentive awards.

What you will do

• Manage an active caseload of low- to moderately complex bodily injury and property damage liability claims from first notice of loss through resolution.
• Investigate claims, determine coverage, evaluate liability and damages, establish reserves, and issue accurate payments within authorization limits.
• Communicate professionally with customers, claimants, attorneys, vendors, and internal stakeholders.
• Negotiate settlements, resolve disputed claims, and handle low-complexity litigation.
• Maintain accurate claim activity records and adapt to new systems, AI implementations, and digital tools.
• Provide training and coaching to less experienced claim professionals when needed.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• At least one year of bodily injury liability, property damage liability, or comparable claims experience, or successful completion of the required hirify.global Claim Representative training program.
• Bachelor’s degree and two years of bodily injury claims experience are preferred for the target profile.
• Active adjuster license where required by state law, with relevant insurance licenses to be obtained and maintained within three months of starting.
• Experience with claims management systems, Microsoft Office, enterprise technology platforms, insurance principles, policy language, and state claims regulations.
• Strong communication, customer service, analytical, organizational, negotiation, conflict resolution, and decision-making skills.
