Associate Manager, Category Leadership - Walmart

Location: Hybrid work model based in Rogers, Arkansas, United States, with office attendance three days per week. Occasional travel and physical activity, including lifting up to 30 lbs. in layout centers or modular rooms, may be required.

Salary: $87,900–$120,900 annual base salary

What you will do

• Develop recurring and ad hoc reporting for Walmart merchant requests and category analyses.
• Maintain item attribution, data integrity, store lists, compliance tracking, and category administration.
• Support modular development, reviews, drawings, layout center execution, and mod room execution.
• Use syndicated, shopper, and retailer data to generate insights and identify category opportunities.
• Build reporting automation and improve the efficiency of analytical processes.
• Support category reviews, presentations, insight summaries, and data-driven recommendations with Managers and Team Leads.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree.
• 4+ years of business experience, including 1+ year in category management, analytics, shopper insights, or a related area.
• Prior experience working with Walmart.
• High accuracy, responsiveness, attention to detail, time management, and prioritization.
• Ability to work in the hybrid Rogers, Arkansas model with attendance three days per week.

Nice to have

• Advanced analytical capabilities with large datasets.
• Experience with Excel, Power BI, Scintilla, Circana, and reporting tools.
• Experience presenting to Walmart leadership and providing strategic influence.
• Knowledge of category advisor agreements.
