Security Supervisor

Location: On-site in London, United Kingdom, with flexibility for operational needs, incidents, and occasional out-of-hours support.

Salary: £44,818.77–£52,727.96 per year, with possible additional compensation.

Provides technology-enabled grading, authentication, vaulting, and sales services for collectibles including trading cards, autographs, comics, coins, video games, tickets, and memorabilia.

What you will do

• Oversee daily security operations at the London office and support other UK security requirements.
• Manage the contracted security vendor, including staffing, rotas, post orders, training standards, coverage, and service performance.
• Maintain procedures for access control, visitor management, contractor escorts, deliveries, keys, badges, and movement of high-value products.
• Oversee CCTV, intruder alarms, and related security systems, coordinating fault resolution with internal teams and service providers.
• Coordinate responses to incidents, alarms, and emergencies; conduct preliminary investigations and maintain accurate records and evidence.
• Work with Operations, Workplace, HR, emergency services, and building management on security, fire safety, life safety, and operational readiness.

Requirements

• At least five years of security experience, including three or more years supervising security operations in a corporate or comparable environment.
• Experience managing contracted security officers, vendor performance, staffing, and service delivery.
• Working knowledge of access control, CCTV, intruder alarms, visitor management, and fire and life safety procedures.
• Understanding of UK security operating practices, relevant licensing requirements, CCTV footage handling, and sensitive information management.
• Strong written and spoken English, sound judgement, calm incident response, and effective leadership and organisational skills.
• Ability to work on-site in London and provide flexibility for operational needs and occasional out-of-hours support.

• Experience supporting travel safety, crisis management, or business continuity.
• Experience supporting a new site opening or establishing security procedures for a growing operation.
