Senior Project Manager (Embedded Systems)

Location: Rochester, New York, United States

Base salary: $94,000–$141,000 per year, with potential annual incentive and long-term incentives.

What you will do

• Lead multiple engineering design and product development projects from planning through completion.
• Manage project scope, schedules, budgets, deliverables, risks, changes, and customer expectations.
• Define project goals, requirements, priorities, and success measures with stakeholders.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary engineering teams, third parties, vendors, and related projects.
• Build client relationships through clear communication and expectation management.
• Mentor junior engineers and evaluate completed projects for delivery improvements.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience managing engineering design projects involving embedded systems and product development.
• Broad knowledge of electronics and software development.
• Experience managing multiple projects, priorities, schedules, budgets, and stakeholders concurrently.
• Strong project management, program management, business, risk management, and change management skills.
• Experience coordinating multidisciplinary engineering teams and external partners or vendors.
• Strong client communication skills and a collaborative leadership style with the ability to mentor junior engineers.
