What you will do

• Lead technical initiatives impacting platform scalability and reliability.
• Scale systems from PostgreSQL to event-driven architecture for tens of millions of MAU.
• Drive monolith-to-services decomposition using proven patterns.
• Design and implement database optimization strategies for high-throughput workloads.
• Build and scale AI infrastructure, including vector stores and LLM orchestration.
• Mentor engineers through code reviews, design sessions, and pairing.

Requirements

• 10+ years of hands-on software engineering experience building and shipping at scale.
• Proven track record with distributed systems serving tens of millions of MAU.
• Deep expertise in TypeScript, Node.js, Go, and AWS.
• Strong experience with PostgreSQL at scale, including query optimization, partitioning, and replication.
• Experience with service-oriented architectures and decomposition patterns.
• Familiarity with AI and ML infrastructure, including vector databases, embeddings, and LLM APIs.
