RCM Specialist II (Healthcare)

What you will do

• Submit, review, correct, and process denied, rejected, and unpaid insurance and healthcare claims.
• Research claim issues, identify root causes, recommend solutions, and coordinate with internal and external stakeholders.
• Manage accounts receivable for assigned accounts using reporting, analytics, and account reviews.
• Partner with clinicians, practice owners, and customers through account meetings, written communication, and ongoing support.
• Identify denial and reimbursement trends and recommend process improvements that improve efficiency and customer outcomes.
• Collaborate with Leads and Managers, use technology to streamline workflows, and stay current on payer requirements and revenue cycle practices.

Requirements

• Associate degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• At least 1 year of medical billing or revenue cycle management experience.
• At least 1 year of customer service, account management, or client-facing experience.
• Strong knowledge of insurance billing, behavioral health billing, therapy reimbursement, claims submission, payment posting, denial management, appeals, and accounts receivable follow-up.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, prioritization, and attention-to-detail skills.
• Proficiency with billing systems, reporting tools, and Microsoft Office applications.
