Remote Contract Medical Biller

Location: Philippines; fully remote outside of the United States

Salary: $8–$10 per hour, based on experience

What you will do

• Manage the full revenue cycle from patient registration through claims resolution.
• Submit and track medical claims with insurance payers.
• Perform accounts receivable follow-up and resolve denied, underpaid, and unpaid claims.
• Answer patient billing questions, explain benefits, and handle escalated concerns with empathy.
• Collaborate with clinical and operations teams to maintain accurate billing information.
• Maintain practice management and EHR data, support billing improvement projects, and follow HIPAA requirements.

Requirements

• At least 1 year of experience in end-to-end medical billing and revenue cycle management.
• Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and manage time in a remote setting.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with a professional, compassionate approach to patient interactions.
• Proficiency with Google Sheets or Microsoft Excel for data tracking and analysis.
• Experience working effectively within a remote team and meeting performance KPIs.
• Reliable high-speed internet and a dedicated, private workspace are required.

Nice to have

• Experience with Candid practice management software.
• Experience with the Elation Health EHR system.
• Familiarity with Google Meet and Slack.
