TL;DR
AI Scrum Master with Python Skills (AI/SAFe): Supporting Agile teams delivering AI-enabled information systems with an accent on SAFe Scrum practices, cross-functional coordination, and delivery governance. Focus on facilitating PI Planning and Agile ceremonies, resolving dependencies and impediments, and coordinating experimentation, model improvement, validation, security, and compliance.
Location: 100% remote within the United States
Compensation: W-2 negotiable; contract-to-hire; 40 hours per week.

What you will do
- Serve as a SAFe Agile Scrum Master for teams delivering AI-enabled information systems.
- Facilitate stand-ups, sprint planning, backlog refinement, reviews, retrospectives, PI Planning, and other Agile ceremonies.
- Coordinate dependencies, risks, impediments, integration points, and release readiness across teams and stakeholders.
- Coach teams and stakeholders on Scrum, SAFe values, self-organization, estimation, work management, and continuous improvement.
- Support delivery of AI capabilities including document understanding, semantic search, summarization, recommendations, intelligent automation, conversational experiences, and decision-support tools.
- Coordinate delivery considerations involving experimentation, model improvement, data dependencies, AI-output validation, security, compliance, and governance.
Requirements
- Must have Python programming skills.
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field or four additional years of experience.
- At least three years of experience as a Scrum Master supporting enterprise software delivery teams.
- Experience working as a Scrum Master in a SAFe Agile environment and strong knowledge of Agile, Scrum, Kanban, and SAFe practices.
- Experience supporting AI-enabled information systems or similar data-driven applications.
- Experience coordinating cross-functional teams involving product, engineering, data science, testing, security, and operations, including governance and compliance requirements.
Nice to have
- SAFe Scrum Master, Certified ScrumMaster, PMI-ACP, or similar certification.
- Experience with Generative AI, large language models, AI/ML delivery, model evaluation, prompt iteration, or governance controls.
- Experience with Jira, Azure DevOps, Confluence, Miro, Palantir Foundry, Databricks, Azure AI, AWS AI/ML, or OpenAI/Azure OpenAI.
- Experience with sensitive or regulated data or in government, healthcare, or mission-oriented environments.
