AWS Project Manager (AI)

Location: Remote in Canada; Alberta, British Columbia, or Ontario only. Certain roles may require up to 25% travel.

What you will do

• Lead the full lifecycle delivery of CCaaS, conversational AI, agentic AI, and migration projects based on Amazon Connect and AWS.
• Manage project financials, scope, change control, schedules, milestones, dependencies, risks, and client decisions.
• Own client communication, status meetings, business outcomes sessions, presentations, and weekly progress reporting.
• Partner with architects, consultants, developers, QA, DevOps, AWS teams, and vendors to manage requirements, user stories, acceptance criteria, and delivery dependencies.
• Coordinate UAT, defect resolution, end-user training, production cutover, and post-go-live hypercare.
• Serve as Agile Scrum Master, guide the SDLC process, and apply approved AI-assisted delivery tools in line with client data-handling requirements.

Requirements

• 5+ years of project management experience in contact center environments, including CCaaS implementations.
• 2+ years of hands-on project management or Scrum leadership experience on Amazon Connect implementations.
• Experience overseeing AI delivery or solution projects in a contact center context.
• Professional services or consulting experience, including estimation, sizing, SOWs, and change orders.
• Experience facilitating requirements sessions, grooming user stories, presenting functional content to clients, and using Agile or hybrid project management approaches.
• Current AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner or AWS Certified Solutions Architect certification.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of IVR, voice, chat, SMS, call routing, integrations, and contact center reporting.
• Hands-on experience delivering agentic AI solutions in contact centers.
• Experience with Jira, Smartsheet, or similar project-management and Agile tools.
• Background as a Solution Architect, Product Owner, Functional or Technical Consultant, or Business Analyst.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Information Technology, or Management.
